Special event at the Skirball Cultural Center!
On Friday, December 2, the Skirball Cultural Center is hosting a very special evening built around our book! A Festival of Light: Five Senses of Hanukkah will feature music, art, poetry, traditional foods, and even a holy oil ritual to create a moving and multi-sensory experience centered on the Jewish value of Charity — the focus of Night 5.
We’ll lead you through an evening you won’t forget. We’re going to be joined by a live musician playing some of the songs from the playlist, a chef preparing a delicious recipe from the book (and yes, you get to eat it!), a rabbi showing how holy oil is consecrated, an art project you can participate in yourself, and a lot of great conversation. All that, plus an in-person book signing!
Final details and guest presenters are being worked out and we’ll update you once we have them. But we can promise you that this is going to be a fascinating, fun and fulfilling event you won’t want to miss.
Tickets are available now, and are going fast. Get yours and join us!

Congratulations on the Skirball gig Uncle. Wish I could be there…
Me, too. Thanks, Unc.
