A little taste of Italy
Stickhouse owns the patent on the creamiest gelato bar around. With 90+ locations in 17 countries, it was time to bring it to the United States. And the Aussie owners of the SoCal franchise needed a launch campaign.
What we did
They have a few competitors. But none can anchor their brand to Italian roots like Stickhouse can. To evoke the Italian experience, the fun, the handcrafted artistry with which each gelato bar is decorated, and the fresh ingredients, we used a combination of humorous illustration and tasty photography to create signage, posters and web graphics. Plus a wildly noticeable food truck that brings cold deliciousness to schools and tourist spots, and serves as a mobile billboard for the brand.
In addition, we led their executive team through a multi-day, comprehensive brand definition process that drove all communications and positioning going forward.
Results
Lines out the door at their first location. Stickhouse is young, but their Yelp! reviews are stellar, and the word is getting out there that “every stick is a work of art.” We’re cheering them on.
