An historic campaign
The Los Angeles accounting firm of Green Hasson Janks is all about collaboration. It’s the core of their brand identity and it’s deeply ingrained in their DNA.
To communicate this idea to the business community and help raise awareness of the half-century-old firm, GHJ asked us to create a series of ads for the Los Angeles Business Journal, each focusing on a different segment of their market.
What we did
Each ad briefly introduced a surprising, historic, game-changing collaboration, then used a QR code to link the reader to the firm’s website for all the juicy details.
Stories included how the Wright Brothers’ brilliant lawyer protected their discovery through a patent; how Howard Carter discovered the tomb of King Tutankhamen with the support of his backer and mentor, the Fifth Earl of Carnarvon; how Marie and Pierre Curie found ways to finance their research; and how P.T. Barnum and Jenny Lind’s legal contract was so central to their mutual success.
Results
Increased awareness, increased traffic to their website, and continued growth for this highly collaborative, visionary, client-focused firm led to our creating an extended ad campaign and additional marketing tools.
