TDI Library Services owned the high end of their market. If you wanted document retrieval done right, you used TDI. They weren’t as cheap as some of their competitors. But if you needed an article from an Italian medical journal or an obscure reference from a remote law library, they’d find it for you. Their researchers covered the planet, and their rate of success in retrieving just what their corporate customers were looking for was unmatched.
As technology became a greater part of the equation, other companies encroached on their territory, supposedly offering the same service at lower rates. TDI needed to do a much better job of communicating its expertise and professionalism to a skeptical audience.
We designed a crisp, strong brand identity then upgraded their marketing materials and their website, repositioning them as the real experts in their field. Later, when they developed a new, proprietary, interactive online search application, we branded that, too.
